Lincoln Center are delighted to invite everyone to the third annual Summer for the City, featuring hundreds of events that will bring together thousands of artists in celebration of the multitude of stories that thrive within the city.
“Life, Liberty, and Happiness” serves as this year’s guiding curatorial theme, highlighting how active participation in the arts helps strengthen civic bonds and foster strong communities.
From June 12 to August 10, everyone is invited to celebrate their own voice and artistry, joining neighbors and new friends. Under the direction of Visual Director Clint Ramos and Donyale Werle Design, the campus will transform into a welcoming oasis where neighbors from around the corner and across the city can gather, relax, participate in performances, enjoy expanded food offerings, and even play outdoor games.
All events are either free or “choose-what-you-pay,” with tickets for select events going on sale Thursday, May 16 at noon.
This is the community’s dance floor, their campus, and their festival. The organizers look forward to welcoming everyone all summer long and can’t wait to see what they will create together. For more info go to Lincoln Center
